Navigating STEM Spaces

The purpose of this workshop is to provide our scholars with an opportunity to learn how to navigate STEM spaces as students of color in predominantly white spaces.This includes classrooms, research labs, internships, conferences, etc. Our objectives are:
- To increase students’ level of confidence in STEM spaces
- Share experiences and advice from graduate students on navigating predominately white spaces
- Assist students with the development of a stronger STEM identity
