DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this workshop is to provide our scholars with an opportunity to learn how to navigate STEM spaces as students of color in predominantly white spaces.This includes classrooms\, research labs\, internships\, conferences\, etc. Our objectives are:  \n\nTo increase students’ level of confidence in STEM spaces\nShare experiences and advice from graduate students on navigating predominately white spaces\nAssist students with the development of a stronger STEM identity\n\nPresenter: Van Andel Institute Graduate Students
